Wendy Bohling is a rare breed – a sales person who understands highly complex engineering “geek-speak” first hand. Don’t let her VP Sales title fool you. She’s actually a tried-and-true, been-in-the-trenches software development with more than 20 very successful years of engineering experience. Wendy enjoys what she’s doing and is amazingly good at it. Currently, as VP sales of Servion, a Indian based Contact Center Engineering company, it’s about helping innovative solutions companies get outsourcing right. Wendy founded the “Coolest Women We Know (CWWK) in IT” networking organization (www.coolestwomen.org) in 2007 filling a void in the Denver area for high tech women to work together to support each other, and make a difference in the community.

MOXIE MOMENT: I wore a lobster costume in front of 5000 attendees as the MC of the Women in Leadership at Lucent conference to build some excitement around the Boston Clam Bake event. Favorite line: “Does this outfit make my tail look big?”

HIDDEN TALENTS AND OTHER FLAIR: Hitting a golf ball a country mile. Mentoring high potential women. Supporting a group of 8th grade fabulous girls as a girl scout troop leader. Speaking and writing.

MOXIE SPOT: Being a maverick to make a difference. Saying the things that other people are only thinking!

Melodie Reagan is the Founder and Partner of i2i Workforce LLC (i2i), previously Auromira Executive Advantage LLC, a national recruitment, contract staffing and training & coaching firm. She is also a founding partner in Crazy Good Marketing, a national, full service offline and online marketing agency that delivers crazy good results with a twist to quickly deliver on the full marketing needs of small to mid-sized businesses. Melodie has a passion for serving her community and has served on numerous Boards including ACG Denver, Colorado Companies to Watch, NAAAP Colorado, TiE-Rockies and WBE (Women Business Executives). She is a Judge for ColoradoFIRST, and was a Judge in 2005 and 2006 for Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards – Rocky Mountain Region. Notable Awards include the Denver Business Journal’s Outstanding Women in Business – Mile High Leaders Finalist, NAFE’s Women of Excellence Award for Outstanding Entrepreneur Achievement, and Women In Technology International Volunteer Award—1st Runner up.

MOXIE MOMENT: I was the SVP of Global Marketing and Sales Operations at Level3 Communications. It was at a time when the telecom industry was in great turmoil, and not at its best. I left Level3 and started my own company (Auromira) because I wanted to demonstrate that businesses can do good and be good. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. In that same year, when women organizations were not so common, I conceived and launched Women Business Executives (WBE), an organization that grew to over 300 members.

HIDDEN TALENTS AND OTHER FLAIR: I am an “electronic” creative. I enjoy working in Adobe Suite creating marketing materials of all kinds through to videos. Smile…it really is fun. ☺

MOXIE SPOT: At my office or on the phone working with my team and clients. On stage presenting. Umm…dare I say that when you are at your Moxie best, every place is a favorite place!
